Dr Lawrence Lau

Principle Dentist

Dr Lawrence attended boarding school at St Joseph’s College, Hunter’s Hill. In 1997, he graduated from the University of Sydney, with honours, receiving an academic prize in Prosthetic Dentistry.

Since graduation, Dr Lawrence has spent extensive time on continuing education, to keep his dental practice at the forefront of dental technology. This includes the use of CEREC technology, to optimise the outcomes of his cosmetic and restorative procedures, laser dentistry, guided implant surgery, and a range of orthodontic treatments. His enthusiasm in expanding his knowledge comes from understanding the fact that dentistry is a relentlessly evolving practice.

Dr Lawrence is always eager to contribute to the dental scholarship of his colleagues. Lawrence frequently gives lectures both locally and internationally on the subjects of cerec, laser, and guided implant surgery.

Outside of dentistry, Lawrence is chasing around his three adorable (sometimes) children. He also lets off steam by working out in Wing Chun Kung Fu.

Dr Gloria Shih

Principle Dentist

Gloria Graduated from Sydney Uni in 1998 and has been in private dental practice since this time. Gloria grew up with her family in Sydney’s north shore and went to Killara High School. With over 20 years experience Gloria loves being a Dentist and to being able to help her patients achieve a healthy, beautiful life long smile. She especially enjoys being a family dentist serving the local community for their dental needs and seeing generations of patients from the time they were brought in as children by their parents to now bringing their own children in to see her.

Outside of dentistry Gloria enjoys being mum to her three children and in her leisure time enjoys trekking local national parks, cooking and travelling.

Dr Howard Yean

Associate Dentist

Dr Howard attended high school at Fort Street High School in Petersham. Prior to studying dentistry, he completed a Bachelor of Commerce at the University of New South Wales. Seeking further fulfilment in his work, Dr Howard then completed a Bachelor of Dentistry at the University of Sydney.

Since graduating, he has continuously broadened his interests in dentistry, having undertaken education in dental implants, orthodontics and restorative dentistry.

Outside of dentistry, Howard enjoys good food, cooking, going for walks, and attempting to get fitter at the gym.

Dr Alan Lee

Registered Dental Specialist Periodontist

BDS MSD CAGS Perio (Boston University, USA) Diplomate, American Board of Periodontology

Dr Alan Lee completed his Master of Science in Dentistry and Certificate of Advanced Graduate Studies in Periodontics from Boston University, USA. He was also awarded the Diplomate, American Board in Periodontology. During his residency, he also won the Morris Ruben Scholarship for excellence in Periodontology. Following completion of his specialist training from Boston, Alan returned to Sydney to work as a specialist.

Dr Alan Lee has been in dentistry for more than 20 years in total and had seen many facets of dentistry. This has made him a caring dentist with excellent chair side manners and understands the fear of patients seeing dentists in general. Outside of work, Dr Lee is also involved in doing voluntary work and engaged at least once a year in overseas voluntary services at Cambodia, Myanmar and Bhutan. He believes in doing so, the experiences he had made him feel appreciative of what he has back home in Sydney.

Dr Kevin Lo

Associate Dentist

Dr Kevin Lo graduated with a Doctor of Dental Medicine from the University of Sydney. He is passionate about all aspects of dentistry, with a specific interest in Cosmetic Dentistry, Oral Surgery and Implantology. Dr Kevin is constantly looking for opportunities to fine-tune his skills by regularly attending courses and conferences.

Having grown up in Hong Kong, he is also fluent in Cantonese, Mandarin and English. He loves changing people’s lives with a bright new smile. But most importantly, he loves making people feel comfortable and confident in attending dental appointments.

Dr Kevin believes that there is a balance to everything in life. Everyone should enjoy their favourite food and beverages every once in a while. A coffee first thing in the morning or a dessert after dinner is something that no one should have to miss! He understands these indulgences in life, so do not be afraid to seek him for some advice on how to restore your beautiful smile and ways to maintain them!

Outside of work, Dr Kevin loves playing basketball and golf, and anything else that’s active. As much as he loves helping everyone with their teeth, he also loves taking time off once a year to travel. His ultimate goal is to visit all the exotic places in the world. His favourite location so far is Hawaii.
